GDS true triaxial instrument has static and dynamic two types. Dynamic true triaxial instrument is compatible with the function of static true triaxial instrument. The principle of the true triaxial test system is very simple, but it has not been used well for many years. The main reason is the loading boundary condition in the true triaxial test. Due to the large amount of soil deformation, it is easy for the loading plates to conflict with each other during the loading process, and the loading boundary conditions cannot be successfully simulated.
On the loading method of the spinner, GDS can provide the classic servo motor loading method of GDS, as well as the electro-hydraulic servo loading method of larger load, which can meet the requirements of various test purposes. The four hydraulic actuators of the true triaxial test system are installed outside the pressure chamber. The piston rod passes through the hermetically sealed low-friction bearing and enters the pressure chamber. The underwater load sensor is directly installed on the top of the piston rod and directly connected to the loading plate. Contact, which can eliminate the effect of confining pressure and friction on loading force, without additional correction.
In general, GDS mainly provides ordinary rigid loading plate forms, but GDS can also design sliding rigid loading plate devices for users. In this case, the loading plate will include linear guide bearing devices to eliminate as much as possible between the loading plates. The contact friction force minimizes the influence of the friction force and ensures that each loading plate can slide freely.
